The county's event-space listing for the Cordelia Park Indoor Pavilion, at 650 East 24th Street, says it has a view of the Charlotte skyline and overlooks Cordelia Pool and sprayground. The pool is separately listed at 2100 North Davidson Street. Park listings put the acreage in the range of twenty acres, and the Carolina Thread Trail also identifies Cordelia as the northern end of the Little Sugar Creek corridor, so its role is as much about trail connection as neighborhood recreation. Connecting to Plaza Midwood
From Plaza Midwood, Cordelia Park lies north and west, across the rail and road barriers between the neighborhood and NoDa. Most households reach it by car or bike, since the walk from the Central Avenue blocks is long. The strongest link is the greenway. Little Sugar Creek Greenway starts at Cordelia Park and runs toward Alexander Street Park and 12th Street, so the park is the northern gateway to the trail that continues toward Uptown and Freedom Park. The Plaza Midwood side of that link goes through Independence Park and the county's Hawthorne Lane connection. Parking at Cordelia is more generous than at neighborhood pocket parks, but pool and event days fill the lots. Confirm sprayground and pool hours with the county because they are seasonal.
