The honest answer to what there is to do here is: walk. Everything else — murals, markets, patios, music, the greenway — hangs off the fact that this is a neighborhood built for walking through.
The corridor's walls have functioned as a rotating public gallery for years, and the work turns over often enough that a walk taken twice a year is a different walk. Several murals have become landmarks by which residents give directions, which is about as strong an endorsement as public art gets.
Spring brings porch-season and neighborhood events; summer belongs to the pool at Veterans Park and late patios; fall is the strongest festival and market stretch and the best month for the greenway; winter quiets down to coffee, dinner, and the dive bars. Event schedules move year to year — confirm before planning around them.
Coffee at the western end of the corridor, a slow walk east reading murals, an hour in the vintage and record shops, lunch at a taqueria, an afternoon loop on the Briar Creek Greenway, dinner on the corridor, and a nightcap somewhere unreconstructed.
